What happens when some of Canada’s strongest and most knowledgeable fitness people decide to open a gym in Prince George? Great things happen! Training clients and changing lives since 2005, Xconditioning is a locally owned and operated fitness facility, focusing on making everyone that comes through our door better at that thing they call fitness!
Our roots began in the athletic community, working with talented athletes such as the NHL’s Brett Connolly, Brandon Manning, and Nick Drazenovic, as well as the Prince George Spruce Kings, Prince George Cougars, and the Cariboo (major midget) Cougars. Over the years, our focus has broadened to include the every day gym-goer, the first timer, and everything in between. We work with athletes in just about every sport imaginable, including hockey, football, baseball, soccer, speed skating, figure skating, triathlon, cycling, golf, lacrosse, motocross, BMX, among others.
We ventured into the general fitness population in 2009, and have created and developed XFIT – with over 300 members and 37 hours of class each week, it has become one of the most popular Adult Fitness programs in Prince George!
Our training facility and programs are not like other gyms. Located at 505 2nd ave., we work our butt off to provide every one of our members with a fun yet challenging, controlled experience. All of our clients and programs are under our expert training staff supervision and control – ensuring maximum safety, results, and awesomeness!
The programs we offer is incomparable. At Xconditioning, there are NO walk-in members – all of our members are in structured, programmed classes that are specific to their personal fitness needs. Think about never waiting for a machine again! Our Prince George Fitness Center can accommodate class sizes from an individual athlete to a group of 20 members, and our class structure ensures when you are training with Xconditioning, you are the only class in the gym, giving you the personal trainers‘ undivided attention.
We use a variety of unique strength and conditioning tools with our members. Our strength training includes a complete weight room with free weights, dumbbells, kettlebells, as well as machines, accomodating strength tools such as chains and bands, strongman strength tools such as kegs, tractor tires, and sledgehammers, cardio equipment such as stationary bikes and rowing machines, and unorthodox training tools such as rings, sandbags, ladders, hurdles, and many, many more!
